DIVERS of the Namibian police’s Special Reserve Force, have retrieved the body of 30-year-old Simon Shaalukeni Nendongo who drowned in the Swakoppiortdam near Okahandja on Thursday.<\/p>\n
It is alleged that Nendongo drowned after he fell from a foam board that he and a friend used to erect a fishing net.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred between 12:00 and 14:00.<\/p>\n
According to the police, the deceased’s relatives were also part of the fishing expedition.<\/p>\n
Police divers only managed to retrieve the body from the water Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The police at Okajandja are also investigating the unnatural death of Lovisa Haimbwiti (43), a resident of Five Rand location.<\/p>\n
It is alleged that Haimbwiti and her husband were quarrelling Thursday evening and eventually went to sleep in separate rooms.<\/p>\n
The husband woke the next morning to prepare to go to work. He walked to the other room and found the lifeless body of his wife hanging from the roof with a wire around the neck.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
