Walvis Bay was highlighted in this regard as the town is expected to experience minimum temperatures averaging between 19\u2070C to 22\u2070C and maximum temperatures between 34\u2070C to 35\u2070C.<\/p>\n<p>While the coast is hot and windy, Namibia Meteorological Services explained that advection of cold air is expected over the central, eastern and northern parts of the country. However, this cold air will not last the entire week.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow aligncenter\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-delay=\"5\" data-effect=\"slide\"><div to warm during the course of the week. Furthermore, it was stated that this warmth will likely come with fresh to strong easterly winds as well.<\/p>\n<p>Still, the central parts of the country will not become as warm as coastal areas according to Namibia Meteorological Services\u2019 predictions, which indicate that Windhoek, for example, will experience minimum temperatures of 5\u2070C and maximum temperatures between 21\u2070C to 22\u2070C.<\/p>\n<p>Namibia Meteorological Services also predicted a hot week for the northern parts of the country, specifically from Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>However, the north is still expected to be cooler than the coastal towns, with places like Ondangwa, in the Oshana region, expected to experience maximum temperatures between 24\u2070C to 30\u2070C.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter DESPITE the fast approaching winter season, Namibia Meteorological Services predicted a particularly warm week for the country\u2019s coastal towns and explained that the heat will most likely be accompanied by sandstorms.
