{"id":315671,"date":"2022-03-07T08:49:22","date_gmt":"2022-03-07T06:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=315671"},"modified":"2022-03-07T08:49:27","modified_gmt":"2022-03-07T06:49:27","slug":"panga-wielder-attacks-housemates-and-police-slits-throat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=315671","title":{"rendered":"Panga-wielder attacks housemates and police, slits throat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maria David<\/p>\n<p>A 37-YEAR-OLD man is under police guard at the Oshakati State Hospital after he attacked his housemates and a police officer with a panga, and then slit his throat.<\/p>\n<p>The incident was reported on Friday at around 09:00 in the Ongwediva constituency.<\/p>\n<p>According to Nampol\u2019s weekend crime report, the police were called to Omaalala village where the suspect was destroying items in the house, as well as threatening and hitting his housemates with a panga.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The suspect then became more violent when he saw the police officers and attacked one of them with the panga.
