THE Namibian Police in northern regions will once again be able to fight crime from the air through its Air Wing division, after the return of the police helicopter.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The helicopter has been out for service for over a year. The helicopter will be stationed at Oshakatiin the Oshana Region will serve four regions of the north- Oshana, Omusati, Ohangwena and Oshikoto to fight crime from the air.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The helicopter was first procured in 2018, to benefit the northern regions with either crime prevention or during natural disasters where need will be required.<\/p>\n
