{"id":315001,"date":"2022-02-25T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-02-25T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=315001"},"modified":"2022-02-24T20:22:50","modified_gmt":"2022-02-24T18:22:50","slug":"oshakati-budgets-millions-for-housing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=315001","title":{"rendered":"Oshakati budgets millions for housing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maria David<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>AS part of its current five-year strategic plan for land and housing, the Oshakati Town Council has diverted its focus on catering to low and ultra low-income earners, with 16 000 people on the current waiting list.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>According to town spokesperson Katarina Kamari, the council has put aside N$20 million for the servicing of Ehenye extension 11 and a portion of extension 12 for the 2021\/22 financial year.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In addition, N$1 million has been availed for the servicing of Onawa extension 8 and the Build Together programme.
