RESIDENTS of the Hakhaseb settlement in Usakos successfully saved Ben Danakhoe Uiseb, a traditional headman and a member of the !Oe-#Gan<\/a> Traditional Authority, after his car was outperformed by the strong Khan River.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking to Informant\u00e9, town councillor Aleta Katiti Sem said due to the heavy flow of the river, community members were, however, unable to retrieve the car.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“They tried to remove the car but the water was too strong. However, it was later removed with a tractor. The headman is safe and no injuries were recorded” she added.<\/div>\n
