THE Namibian Police in the Omusati Region is investigating two unnatural death cases reported on Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
On Monday evening, Suama Iileka (49) died tragically after she fell off a donkey cart that she was riding on with two other people.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The incident occurred at Eengondo village in the Ruacana constituency around 23:00.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
According to Omusati Regional Commander Commissioner Titus Shikongo, the deceased was riding home at the time of the accident.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cIileka sustained neck injuries but later died upon arrival at home,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The deceased\u2019s body was transported to the Okahao police mortuary.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In another incident, Angolan national Linus Manuele was found hanging from a wire tied to a mopane tree at Ohambanda village in the Outapi constituency.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Shikongo stated that the deceased was employed as a domestic worker at the house where the incident happened.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cThe next of kin were informed and no suicide note was left behind,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The body was taken to the Okahao police mortuary.<\/p>\n
