{"id":314405,"date":"2022-02-20T08:49:42","date_gmt":"2022-02-20T06:49:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=314405"},"modified":"2022-02-20T08:49:49","modified_gmt":"2022-02-20T06:49:49","slug":"run-with-the-stars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=314405","title":{"rendered":"Run with the stars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maria David<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>MTC recently launched the &#8220;We Race Together&#8221; initiative, the third edition of the MTC Knockout Project 2022 focused on nation-building and unity, bringing together 140 people who stand the change to compete against Namibia\u2019s top athletes in a 4&#215;100 m relay.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The relay is scheduled for 16 April at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Teams of four will receive two months of professional training from world-class Namibian coaches. The initiative is also to recognise and appreciate the work of Athletics Namibia that gave us hope and carried us during times of despair.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The MTC Knockout Project is a social intervention initiative aimed at addressing pressing societal issues in the country.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe therefore encourage individuals and Namibian corporates to join us on this thrilling project with a participating fee of only N$30 000 per person.
