welcomes second NAMCOR fuel station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maria David<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>NAMCOR has opened its second service station in the Oshana Region, bringing the total number of service stations by the company to nine since its inception in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The goal is to have 33 service stations serving the country within the next three years, said Davis Maphosa, Acting Executive: Sales and Marketing.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Maphosa explained that NAMCOR&#8217;s retail agenda looks at establishing a sufficient network of profitable sites that will enable them to later serve remote areas, such as regional capitals and rural areas, that do not have access to these services.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow aligncenter\" swiper-pagination-white\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a commercially classified state-owned enterprises, NAMCOR is expected to deliver shareholder value at all times. Retail sites are one of the building blocks towards realising meaningful shareholder value,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Maphosa indicated that although it is NAMCOR that built the sites, they provide opportunities to the general public to run and operate them.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Oshana governor Elia Irimari said the development supports their local and regional agenda for increased socio-economic activities through local and international investments in various sectors.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Oshakati mayor Leonard Hango on his part said he was proud to see development and investment of such nature at the town.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>He indicated that the fuel station is strategically located and will serve the entire community of Oshakati and travellers passing through the town.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Oshakati currently has a total of eight operating fuel stations which serve a community of 37 000 inhabitants.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\"><!-- MetaSlider 271797 not found --><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maria David NAMCOR has opened its second service station in the Oshana Region, bringing the total number of service stations by the company to nine since its inception in 2019.
