{"id":305879,"date":"2021-07-08T22:06:05","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T20:06:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=305879"},"modified":"2021-07-08T22:06:08","modified_gmt":"2021-07-08T20:06:08","slug":"tjiriange-buried-at-heroes-acre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=305879","title":{"rendered":"Tjiriange buried at Heroes Acre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marthina Mutanga<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>DOCTOR Ehrenst Ngarikutuke Tjiriange, was laid to rest at Heroes Acre in Windhoek this morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tjiriange died two weeks ago at the age of 78 as a result of COVID-19 complications.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>President Hage Geingob described the late Dr. Tjiriange as a man who had courage in the face of adversity and praised his outstanding achievements in service to Namibia.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis sacrifice earned him a place to rest amongst those men and women we call Heroes of Namibia. The late Dr. Tjiriange\u2019s fight for Namibia\u2019s Independence and beyond, will be etched in the annals of history,\u201d Dr. Geingob said.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Tjiriange was a Namibian politician, a member of the National Assembly and former Secretary-General of the ruling Swapo Party.
