{"id":305386,"date":"2021-06-23T07:50:52","date_gmt":"2021-06-23T05:50:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=305386"},"modified":"2021-06-23T07:50:55","modified_gmt":"2021-06-23T05:50:55","slug":"namport-will-take-meatco-further","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=305386","title":{"rendered":"Namport will take MeatCo further"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>THE ability of the Namibian Ports Authority to secure direct cargo connections between Namibia\u2019s main harbour and various ports around the world will benefit the country\u2019s meat industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, the Namibian Ports Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Meat Co-operation of Namibia (Meatco) to assist with the unlocking of new markets for the country\u2019s prime export beef.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The two Namibian state-owned companies aim to use this collaboration to further strengthen their commercial ties by utilizing the Port of Walvis Bay to export Meatco&#8217;s beef products.
