{"id":303998,"date":"2021-05-11T07:32:04","date_gmt":"2021-05-11T05:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=303998"},"modified":"2021-05-11T07:32:07","modified_gmt":"2021-05-11T05:32:07","slug":"nbc-board-accused-of-breaking-strike-rules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=303998","title":{"rendered":"NBC board accused of breaking strike rules"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marthina Mutanga<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>THE employees of the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation are accusing the management of the state-owned enterprise of breaking the strike rules by employing freelance workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Namibia Public Workers Union (Napwu) shop steward, Hana Mbaha said the workers are going to march to the Parliament building on Wednesday because they are tired and feel like no one is taking their demands seriously.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mbaha said that when the workers reach the Parliament building they intend to hand a petition to the Speaker of the House, Professor Peter Katjivi.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe management is taking us for a joke and we are tired of what is happening currently at the NBC.
