{"id":301019,"date":"2021-02-10T00:08:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T22:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=301019"},"modified":"2021-02-09T21:19:31","modified_gmt":"2021-02-09T19:19:31","slug":"woman-killed-by-flying-brick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=301019","title":{"rendered":"Woman killed by flying brick"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Maria David<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>THE 34-year-old Ndeshihafela Diina Nangula Halwoodi died in the passenger seat of a car after a brick that fell from a moving truck struck her in the face.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Omusati Regional Police Commander, Commissioner Titus Shikongo, the tragic incident occurred at around 12h30 on Saturday afternoon at the Olwani village on the main road between Okahao and Oshakati.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Shikongo said the brick fell from a white Scania truck with an Oshakati registration number. He said that the truck was transporting a consignment of bricks from Oshakati to Okahao.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe brick fell from the moving truck and struck the windscreen of an oncoming vehicle. The brick then struck a female passenger in the face. The victim died on the scene of the incident,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The deceased body was transported to the Okahao police mortuary for purposes of a post mortem, while police investigations into the matter continue.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\"><!-- MetaSlider 271797 not found --><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":10,"featured_media":301023,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[24],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-301019","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.5 -
