{"id":299270,"date":"2020-12-17T10:36:20","date_gmt":"2020-12-17T08:36:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=299270"},"modified":"2020-12-17T10:36:22","modified_gmt":"2020-12-17T08:36:22","slug":"man-found-dead-in-an-abandoned-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=299270","title":{"rendered":"Man found dead in an abandoned car"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Maria David<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>THE 20-year-old Joseph Zee\u2019s lifeless body was discovered in an old abandoned car at Omwandi Garage recently after he was allegedly beaten up in the area of the Olunkono Village.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Community Affairs Officer, Warrant Officer Frieda Shikole said the body of the deceased was discovered by one of his friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is alleged that the deceased went to the Uupopo location on Friday night and upon his return, on Saturday his face was swollen and he told his friends that he was beaten up by unknown men,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Shikole indicated that the police officers who were on duty at the charge office said they have attended to him. They told the injured young man that he is not sick only he has a hangover and he left without getting assistance.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She noted that there was nobody who had witnessed the fight, while the statement of the deceased man\u2019s friend is yet to be obtained.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Shikole stated that a docket of inquest has been opened and police investigations into the matter continue.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\"><!-- MetaSlider 271797 not found --><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":10,"featured_media":299271,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[33],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-299270","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-breaking-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.5 -
