It is the second time the Young Warriors from Namibia had to settle for the silver medal after losing to Zambia in the 2010 decider.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Namibia would have been maiden winners too, but Mozambique became just the fifth nation after Zambia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Madagascar to take home the COSAFA Under-20 trophy.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The only goal of the match was scored by Dercio Augusto when his surgical free-kick hit the back of the Namibian net untouched by a single player.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Angola picked up the bronze medal for the third year in a row as they defeated defending champions Zambia 2-1.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For their troubles, the Young Warriors were handed the Fair Play prize.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\"><!-- MetaSlider 271797 not found --><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":10,"featured_media":299166,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[33,24,28],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-299165","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-breaking-news","category-news","category-sports"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.5 -
