{"id":299162,"date":"2020-12-13T22:05:41","date_gmt":"2020-12-13T20:05:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=299162"},"modified":"2020-12-13T22:05:43","modified_gmt":"2020-12-13T20:05:43","slug":"diplomats-wife-arrested-for-child-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.web.na\/?p=299162","title":{"rendered":"Diplomat\u2019s wife arrested for child murder"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Maria David<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>THE wife of a staff member at Namibia\u2019s diplomatic mission in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia was arrested by that country\u2019s law enforcement agencies after she reportedly murdered two of her children.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi Ndaitwah, today confirmed the unfortunate incident in Addis Ababa in an official statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The suspect also attempted to murder her third child, but an intervention by a yet unknown person saved the child\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the third child was admitted in hospital and is currently in a stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson of the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, Bertha Amakali, confirmed that the woman was placed under arrest by the police in Addis Ababa shortly after the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amakali said more details about when and where the murder suspect will appear in court will be made available during the week.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nandi-Ndaitwah in her statement expressed condolences with the grieving family and asked Namibians to respect their privacy as they absorb the sad and shocking news.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\"><!-- MetaSlider 271797 not found --><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":10,"featured_media":299163,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[33],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-299162","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-breaking-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.5 -
