The NASP is an in-school archery program open to learners from Grade 4 to Grade 12 which also has the aim to improve student motivation, attention, behaviour, attendance, and focus. It also accommodates students that aren’t involved with other types of sport in school.

A shining example of the inclusivity of the archery in schools programme is the 13-year-old Katelynn Venter who participates in the Senior Girls Category. Katelynn is a young person who lives with disabilities but when she takes up her bow and arrows, she competes on equal terms with other archers.
