from their Otjomuise home eight days ago.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Fistorine\u00a0 Garises, 48, who was working for Desmond Howard when she received the house, insist that the house was built as a token of appreciation by her former boss and that she and her family were living there.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Garises said that they have been sleeping near the erf they were evicted from over a week ago and that City of Windhoek officials came to see them yesterday to inform them that a temporary shelter would be provided for them while the issue of the house is being resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div he said it was a blessing to help us. I used to live in Okuryangava and he took me from there to give me what he called a better life. When we first got the plot we erected a shack and he offered to build us a proper home,\u201d Garises said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.295; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arimo,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Howard, on his part, said he made an offer to Garises to buy the five bedroom house for N$300 000, but that she ignored him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.295; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arimo,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">\u201cShe completely went mute on me so I followed the right steps to evict them. They did not react to the court order. Additionally, they vandalised the property and they were overcrowded in the house.
