\nExpert detectives from Interpol has been tasked with the duty of investigating the murder of nine-year-old Cheryl Avihe Ujaha whose mutilated body was found dumped near some bushes in Katutura, Windhoek, last year.
\nAt the same time the Namibian Police still offers a reward of N$30 000 for information that may help lead to a successful arrest and prosecution, of those responsible for little Cheryls murder.
\n\"\"<\/a>Police are still searching for the murderer and according to head of local Interpol Bureau Deputy Commissioner Immanuel Sam said they are waiting for the Namibian police to finish their investigation because they don\u2019t have the right tools to dig more into the case.
\nSam said the nature of such case need experts to bring their tools and start afresh with the investigation into the case.
\nSimilar cases such as the Stoffels, who was only 17 at the time, was raped and murdered in a riverbed on 27 July 2010 while walking back home for Dawid Bezuidenhout High School.
\n\u201cAs it is, the Stoffels murder suspect is still out there because the police failed due diligence when they hastily sought to solve the murder.\u201d
