Afghanistan skipper Gulbadin Naib won the toss and elected to bowl against Bangladesh in their 2019 Cricket World Cup clash at Southampton.
Both teams have made two changes. Afghanistan has brought in Dawlat and Shenwari in place of Alam and Zazai. Bangladesh has replaced Rubel and Sabbir with Saifuddin and Mosaddek.
Bangladesh is still in the reckoning for tournament semi-final spot with five points from six matches.
Afghanistan has built their bowling attack around their three frontline spinners, who came up with an improved performance in the match against India.
Afghanistan remains rooted to the bottom of the points table after six defeats in as many matches in their second World Cup appearance.
