THE 15-year-old male resident of the Onheleiwa village in the Omusati Region, who was arrested recently for murder and robbery, has appeared in the Outapi Magistrate’s Court, denied bail, and his case postponed to 29 October.
It is alleged that the accused person entered a neighbouring traditional homestead and attacked the house owner, the 60-year-old Frieda Nakakalepo Hamufungu.
The attacker allegedly assaulted the victim with an unknown object on the back of the head, inflicting fatal injuries before stealing her properties, including a cellphone and the respective MTC SIM card.
The deceased’s body was discovered last week Friday at around 19:30, and the stolen properties were recovered when the accused person was arrested.
He appeared in court on Tuesday.
