SOUTHERN SHOWERS: Light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers are sweeping across the southern parts of the country. Keetmanshoop, Sendelingsdrift and Helmeringhausen in the //Kharas Region are among the areas already experiencing notable showers today. The Namibia Meteorological Service has forecast that the showers in the south will intensify, particularly throughout today. The interior parts of the country are expected to receive more rainfall on Saturday, with the Hardap and //Kharas regions, including coastal areas, expected to be among the areas most affected.
