THE Namibian Police in the Erongo Region are seeking public assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a missing teenage girl identified as Runea /Uises.
According to Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula of the Erongo Police, /Uises, a 15-year-old Grade 8 learner at Westside High School, residing at a house in Mandume Ndemufayo Street, Mondesa, allegedly left her home unnoticed on 25 August 2026 at approximately 21:00.
According to her grandmother, she discovered a note on the bed which indicated that she was suicidal.
She was last seen wearing a red hoodie, light-blue jeans and white takkies. She has black braided hair, is light in complexion and slender.
She speaks English and Afrikaans fluently, as well as a bit of Khoekhoegowab and Oshiwambo.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is requested to contact Detective Inspector Cletius Kabuku at 081 391 0671 or the nearest police station.
Police investigation continues.
