TWO men have been arrested in connection with alleged livestock theft after a goat was reportedly slaughtered on a farm near Du Plessis in the Omaheke Region on Friday.
According to the police, the suspects entered the farm, slaughtered a goat and fled the scene with the carcass, which they hid in a house in the area.
The incident was reported to the police, and law enforcement officers tracked the suspects to a property where both were found.
“They were unable to account for the meat and were subsequently arrested,” the police said.
