THE Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) has reminded all taxpayers and stakeholders that the ongoing Tax Amnesty Programme will end on 31 October 2026.
The Tax Amnesty Programme offers taxpayers relief from interest and penalties on outstanding tax debt, provided they settle the capital amount owed and ensure that their tax accounts are up to date.
Qualifying criteria include registering as an e-filer on the Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) at www.namra.org.na.
In addition to this, taxpayers are urged to submit all outstanding tax returns through ITAS and ensure that declarations are complete and accurate.
Finally, NamRA has asked taxpayers to pay the capital amount of the tax debt.
NamRA will automatically write off all interest and penalties charged on the account.
NamRA therefore encourages all taxpayers with outstanding tax debts to settle their capital tax debts and benefit from the programme.
Taxpayers are encouraged to use this opportunity to update their records and remain compliant.
For enquiries and assistance, contact taxamnesty@namra.org.na or the NamRA Call Centre on 081 959 4000.
