A 44-YEAR-OLD man died and four other workers were injured after an explosion at a scrap salvage yard in Walvis Bay on Friday.
According to the police weekend crime report, the incident occurred at around 11:54 at the scrap salvage business premises.
It is alleged that the deceased was working with scrap metal at the yard when the explosion occurred, killing him and injuring four other workers.
The deceased’s next of kin have been informed, while police investigations into the incident are continuing.
