THE Namibian Police at Ondangwa are investigating a case of culpable homicide and failure to stop at the scene of an accident to render assistance, after the body of an unidentified woman was found on the B1 road between Ondangwa and Oshikango in the early hours of Friday.
The deceased is estimated to be aged between 25 and 30, and her lifeless body was discovered in Oshuushe Village on Friday at around 02:00.
Police suspect that the woman was knocked down by a vehicle that did not stop at the scene.
The deceased was wearing a black jacket, a white T-shirt, black jean trousers, and black sandals. She has not yet been identified.
Police have opened cases of culpable homicide and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.
