PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has launched Building Namibia’s Future: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s Roadmap to Unity, Prosperity and Transformation, describing it as a call to action for Namibians to actively contribute to national development and inclusive growth.
The President delivered the keynote address at the official launch of the publication in Windhoek, under the theme “Honouring Leadership, Inspiring Transformation,” where she highlighted the importance of knowledge, leadership and citizen participation in shaping the country’s future.
The book, Building Namibia’s Future, captures President Nandi-Ndaitwah’s leadership journey, vision and insights, presenting them in an accessible narrative aimed at inspiring and empowering present and future generations.

Commending author Mrs Ndahafa Mutongolume for compiling the work, the President said the publication reflects key themes of leadership, nation-building and development, while encouraging citizens to take an active role in shaping Namibia’s progress.
“A writing nation is a reading nation, a reading nation is a knowledgeable nation, a knowledgeable nation is a productive nation, and a productive nation is a prosperous nation,” the President said.
President Nandi-Ndaitwah noted that the themes outlined in the book align with the priorities of the Eighth Administration, particularly ethical leadership, accountability, education, skills development, entrepreneurship and innovation.
She stressed that nation-building is a shared responsibility and urged Namibians, especially young people, to contribute their skills and talents towards national development.
“The future of Namibia is in our own hands, and each of us must bring forth our talents and make our contribution,” she said.
The President also reaffirmed Government’s commitment to supporting the creative industry and encouraged stronger partnerships to expand opportunities for writers, artists and cultural practitioners.
She then officially declared Building Namibia’s Future: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s Roadmap to Unity, Prosperity and Transformation launched.
