THE body of a 28-year-old woman, identified as Selly Gamgaes, was discovered at a dumping site in Kap n Bou, Grootfontein.
According to the police, she was found partially clothed, with marks consistent with strangulation observed on her neck.
“Evidence suggests possible sexual assault. The next of kin have been informed. The body was transported to the state mortuary for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death and to collect forensic evidence,” the police said.
The police confirmed that the suspect(s) are unknown at this stage, and no arrests have been made yet.
