Witbooi thanked the station for the invitation, adding that the tour provided her with first-hand insight into the challenges of alcohol abuse and road safety in the capital. She said such engagements are important in helping government better understand the realities on the ground.
She said that the information gathered would assist authorities in making informed decisions to address alcohol abuse, particularly among young people.
Following the tour, the Vice President expressed concern over the level of alcohol abuse among the youth, urging them to refrain from destructive behaviour and instead prioritise education and personal development.
