THE Namibian Police Force in the Khomas Region has appealed to the public for assistance in locating two missing persons who were last seen in separate incidents in Katutura.
According to a statement issued by the police, 27-year-old Taleinge Shiyukifeni Natangwe was last seen on 25 December 2025 at Okahandja Park in Katutura. He is described as Oshiwambo-speaking, of average build, and brown in complexion. It is alleged that Natangwe was left at home when his family travelled to the north, and upon their return in January 2026, he was no longer at the residence.
In a separate case, 22-year-old Beata Matheus was reported missing on 9 March 2026 after she was last seen at the Okuryangava Stop-and-Shop bus stop in Katutura. She is also Oshiwambo-speaking, of average build, and brown in complexion. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white T-shirt, mustard-coloured trousers, and black shoes. It is believed she boarded a bus to Ondangwa.
Police said efforts by both families to locate the missing individuals have so far been unsuccessful.
