A MALE Oshakati West resident was caught attempting to smuggle cannabis into Oshakati police cells on Friday afternoon, said Commissioner Lungameni Sakaria, NamPol’s Oshana Regional Commander. According to him, the suspect hid the cannabis, valued at N$2,750, in a food parcel meant for an accused person in custody.
The station commander, Chief Inspector Immanuel Iilonga (seen in the video clip), acted quickly, joining his officers as they uncovered the cannabis hidden in toothpaste tubes.
