AN 18-year-old learner has been arrested following a stabbing at De Duine Secondary School in Narraville, Walvis Bay.
According to police, the suspect allegedly stabbed another 18-year-old learner in his neck, who had attempted to intervene in a fight between the suspect and a third student on the school premises.
The victim was taken to Welwitschia Private Hospital for treatment and was discharged from hospital.
The suspect was arrested and is expected to appear in the Walvis Bay Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 16 March, on a charge of attempted murder, alternatively assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
