A ZAMBIAN national has been arrested after he was allegedly found in possession of a game product without a permit.
The suspect, whose age was not made known, was apprehended on Friday afternoon in the Luhingi Fish Reserve, Zambezi Region, when he was allegedly found in possession of a lechwe (antelope) carcass valued at N$25,000.
Lechwe are herbivores that graze in marshy and flooded areas and use knee-deep water as protection from predators.
