A 55-YEAR-OLD Namibian male who is a teacher by profession was arrested after he offered to sell two elephant tusks to an undercover operative.
According to the weekend crime bulletin, the incident of dealing/possession of controlled wildlife products without a permit occurred on Saturday, 21 February 2026 at about 17:45 on the main road between Oshakati and Okahao. The tusks were confiscated and police investigations continue.
