A 65-YEAR-OLD male resident of the Oneshila informal settlement in Oshakati has been arrested after he was allegedly found in possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition this weekend.
Law enforcement agents, acting on a tip-off, searched the suspect’s house and discovered an unlicensed shotgun, an airgun, 44 rounds of live ammunition for a Magnum revolver and ten rounds for a 7mm pistol.
The monetary value of the firearms and ammunition is unknown at this stage.
