Namibia honours Constitution’s 36-year legacy on Constitution Day

Informanté gives an insight into a historic Cooperation between Trustco Media/Informanté and Gondwana of the historic 2020 reunion of the remaining constitutional writers in the historic Tintenpalast Building and in the Constitutional Room, where Namibia gave its first baby steps to sovereignty, peace, dignity, and Justice.
The Constitutional Proposals were adopted in Namibia today, on 9 February 1990.

The commemoration of Constitutional writers is an annual event until interrupted by Covid-19 and revived in 2023 under the theme “Honouring Our Constitutional Legacy: Unity, Liberty, and Justice”, highlighting the Constitution’s role as the supreme law that safeguards human dignity and fundamental rights.
