President calls on BIPA One Stop Centre to prioritise efficiency and ethical service delivery

PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah recently paid an impromptu visit to the One Stop Centre at the Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) headquarters in Windhoek, which was established to bring key investor services together under one roof.

The President was accompanied by Prime Minister Dr Elijah Ngurare and engaged with centre’s staff and management on the Centre’s mandate to facilitate the ease of doing business in Namibia.

“She emphasised that the centre must operate on the principles of efficiency, professionalism and ethical service delivery, ensuring timely communication with investors and providing ‘red carpet treatment’ to all clients,” the Namibian Presidency revealed.

The Presidency further noted that the President highlighted the importance of the private sector as a vital partner in stimulating economic growth, generating employment and building long-term, sustainable wealth.

“The One Stop Centre, which was launched last year as part of Government’s broader efforts to strengthen Namibia’s investment climate, was established to streamline and centralise key investor services under one roof. Its purpose is to reduce administrative bottlenecks, improve efficiency and transparency, and provide a more predictable and investor-friendly experience for both local and international businesses,” the Namibian Presidency explained.
