LAID TO REST: Erasmus Captain Hendjala, the 78-year-old former SWAPO member of Parliament and veteran journalist who passed away at a hospital in Ongwediva recently, was laid to rest at his Iinyikanyika home village in the Omusati Region on Saturday. The funeral service, which took place at the Roman Catholic Church in Oshikuku, was attended by a large crowd of mourners, including Hendjala’s former media colleagues. Pictured here with his portrait are, from left to right: retired NAMPA journalist Mathias Nanghanda, Otweya magazine editor Denis Hatutale and retired New Era journalist William Mbangula.
