UPDATE: The Namibian Police Force has announced that it has arrested a total of 222 suspects in relation to drug busts during December 2025. Kauna Shikwambi, national spokesperson of the Namibian Police Force, confirmed the arrests, which she said included 214 Namibians, one Angolan, three Congolese, one Burundian, and three Zambian nationals. The drugs seized include 1,078,586.2 kg of cannabis, 19,131 Mandrax tablets, 28 grams of cocaine powder, 177.5 units of crack cocaine, 38 grams of crystal meth, and 36 abortion tablets.
