Grade 11 and 12 results to be released on 13 January 2026

Staff Reporter

THE Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MEIYSAC) announced that the examination results for the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) and Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) Levels for the 2025 October/November National Examinations, for both part-time and full-time students, will be released on Tuesday, 13 January 2026.

Mbumba Haitengela, executive director of the education ministry, explained that the NSSCO and NSSCAS results will be accessible to candidates on the specified date via the Ministry’s website at www.meiysac.gov.na and the SMS service line.

To request results via SMS services, please follow the procedure outlined below:

Send your full candidate number as a message to the number 99099, or as a WhatsApp message to 0857856231. Examples of candidate numbers are as follows: 250E090001 for NSSCO Level full—time candidates. 25DE100001 for NSSCO Level port-time candidates, 025AA150001 for NSSCAS Level full-time candidates and  0253Al50001 for NSSCAS Level part-time candidates.

Haitengela further said that to get results through the Ministry’s website, students need to have both their candidate number and date of birth.

Each candidate’s number is printed on his or her admission permit, which was issued earlier.

Upon sending the SMS request, a student’s candidate number and corresponding results will be displayed on the cellphone screen.

Dr. Sanet L. Steenkamp, Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, will officially announce the results on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, at 10:00 AM. The venue is the auditorium at the Government Office Park, Luther Street, Windhoek. Both the website and SMS service will become active on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, at 12:15 PM.

All candidates who wrote the 2025 NSSCO and NSSCAS National Examinations are reminded to keep their candidate numbers readily available when accessing their results. Regional offices will also provide access to results through printed broadsheets during official working hours. Furthermore, individual statements of results must be collected from the schools or examination centres where candidates sat for the examinations.

Candidates are strongly encouraged to contact their respective regional examination offices, using the telephone numbers provided, to confirm whether their statements of results have been delivered to the schools.

“The public is further advised that, in line with data protection regulations, no results documents containing candidates’ names will be publicly displayed or posted. Access to printed broadsheets will only be provided in a controlled and supervised manner through the Regional Directorates of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture,” Haitengela said.
