THE police in the Erongo Region are searching for suspects involved in the hunting and killing of a rhino, as well as the poaching of its horns, at a custodial farm in the Omaruru District.
According to police reports, the suspect(s) shot the black rhino bull in the head before removing its horns. The decomposed carcass of the rhino was later discovered on the farm. However, the horns, valued at N$500,000, remain missing. The police confirmed that no suspects have been arrested yet.
