RECENT rain showers have been quite generous, sweeping across the country from north to south, with more expected in the coming days.
Northern places such as Katima Mulilo, Tsumeb, Okaukuejo and Ondangwa are among those that recently saw light to moderate rainfall. Katima Mulilo reportedly recorded 21mm of rain on Tuesday, while Farm Wag-n-Bietjie near Tsumeb recorded an impressive 40mm on the same day.

The Otjozondjupa Region has also experienced consistent moderate to heavy showers this week. Kombat, in particular, saw nearly 30mm of rain on Tuesday. Meanwhile, some southern areas, including Stampriet in the Hardap Region and Keetmanshoop in the //Kharas Region, also received showers.
According to the Namibia Meteorological Services, more rainfall is expected over the interior parts of the country tomorrow. These showers are likely to affect various regions from north to south. Even Windhoek, which has so far seen only periodic light rainfall, is expected to experience heavier showers soon.
