TEAM Namibia has returned home after their inspiring performances at the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships in India. Upon their arrival, the athletes paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Lucia Witbooi.
Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Hon. Dino Ballotti, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting inclusive sports and ensuring that all athletes—regardless of ability—have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Also present at the event was Mr. Fredy Mwiya, Chief Administrator of the Namibia Sport Commission, who congratulated the team for their outstanding performances and for proudly flying the Namibian flag on the international stage.
The athletes expressed their gratitude to the Namibian Government, through the Ministry, for its continued support in empowering and uplifting para-sports across the country.
