A MENTALLY challenged 42-year-old female resident of a rural village in the Oshana Region was allegedly raped recently when she went out of the house at night to investigate the cause of a commotion at the goat kraal.
That was when she came upon a man whom she recognised as a resident of a neighbouring house, who allegedly grabbed her and raped her.
The crime was reported to the police by the victim’s younger sister.
A 47-year-old suspect has been arrested.
