COMMUNITY Skills Development Foundation (COSDEF) has brought services closer to its community by empowering them through bringing crafts to the people.
Joram Shifa, a representative for communication and stakeholder engagement, highlighted the tangible impact of the organization’s work in the community through skill development.

“As part of a demonstration of our efforts, we brought a group of trainees to the event who are conducting live skill demonstrations across various fields,” she said.
According to Shifa, this serves as a true testament to their competency, showing they are capable of crafting and manufacturing products that can be sold to generate income.
COSDECs are community centres offering practical skills training, particularly to youth and disadvantaged groups, emphasizing business, entrepreneurship, and life skills.
COSDEF, established to enhance arts and crafts skills development, acts as a sales outlet for local products and aims to boost income generation by meeting individual and market needs.
In addition to the live demonstrations, the organization has also made application forms available at its stalls.
Interested individuals can visit the stalls to fill out forms for the 2026 intake.
