COLD TO PERSIST: The recent dramatic drop in temperatures that affected various parts of the country is likely to persist. According to the Namibia Meteorological Services, frost is expected in several parts of the country tomorrow, particularly in the southern, eastern, and central regions. Towns such as Karasburg and Keetmanshoop in the //Kharas Region are expected to experience minimum temperatures of 0°C, while Windhoek in the Khomas Region and Gobabis in the Omaheke Region can expect lows of around 2°C. These areas have already experienced extremely cold and frosty conditions today, as shown in the photo capturing the cold mist hanging over the Auas Mountains in Windhoek this morning.
