UPDATE: Magistrate Olga Muharukua has postponed the matter of two suspects, namely Joel Angula and Sam Shololo, who are implicated in the over N$300 million heist of uncut diamonds, to 23 October as a final remand for the finalisation of investigations. The two are charged with murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, possession of uncut diamonds, and attempted murder after a heist at the state-owned diamond enterprise, Namdia, on 18 January 2025. The State Prosecutor in the matter said that investigations are still ongoing, with witness statements and forensic results still outstanding.
