PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah hosted a farewell courtesy visit from H.E. Alberto de la Calle, the outgoing Spanish Ambassador to Namibia, at State House today.
During the meeting, President Nandi-Ndaitwah highlighted the strong bilateral ties between Namibia and Spain since diplomatic relations were established in March 1990. She praised the commendable growth in trade between the two nations, noting the deepening partnership.

In his farewell remarks, Ambassador de la Calle expressed a sense of fulfilment for his tenure, citing the warm and cordial relations between Namibia and Spain as a highlight of his service.
The visit underscored the continued commitment to fostering diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two countries.
