RAIN AND HAIL: Several parts of the country experienced interesting weather this weekend, with not only light rainfall but also hail reported in some areas. Kalkbrak, near Rehoboth, was among the places that saw both rain and hail. Rain showers were also reported in other interior areas, such as Windhoek in the Khomas Region and Gobabis in the Omaheke Region.
According to the Namibia Meteorological Services, more showers are expected tomorrow in the Khomas, //Kharas and Hardap regions. These showers are likely to affect not only interior areas but also the coast—particularly the southern coastal parts of the country. Windy conditions are also expected across the interior tomorrow.
